SPECIFICATION OF THE SERVICE

Let's talk about Implantology

Evaluation

Evaluation is crucial to ensure the success and longevity of the treatment. Controlling periodontitis is very important to prevent peri-implantitis. If the patient is being medicated for osteoporosis, it is essential to inform the dentist, as some of these drugs are contraindicated in dental procedures due to the risk of complications.

Bridge Laying

To fill the gap of three or four teeth, this procedure allows extractions to be made and implants to be placed on the same day, or a few weeks later, to allow the bone to regenerate. A three or four element ceramic bridge is then fitted, reducing the cost of treatment and filling in the missing teeth.

Single Implant

This procedure, the most commonly used, consists of placing a titanium screw to replace the root of the lost tooth. The prosthesis or ceramic crown is usually placed a few months after the loss. In some cases, it is possible to place the implant and temporary crown at the same appointment.

Overdenture Total Prosthesis

An excellent alternative for edentulous patients or those using removable prostheses. This modality fixes the prosthesis by means of three or four implants, offering stability and comfort to the patient. Its removable feature facilitates daily oral hygiene, contributing to long-term oral health.

Total Prosthesis with Protocol

It offers more natural results and improves phonetic performance, chewing and the quality of food absorption, as it is better crushed. It also restores the patient's self-esteem, as they feel much more confident when smiling and eating.

Guided Surgery

This modern technique for placing implants is currently the best system not only for the patient but also for the professional, as it facilitates the work, speeds up the process and gives a much more peaceful post-operative period with almost no sequelae, as it is much less invasive and traumatic.

Rehabilitation with implants in 4 phases:

1. Diagnosis: Assessment and planning;
2. Surgical phase: Placement of implants;
Prosthetic phase: Placement of the prosthesis on the implant;
4. Maintenance phase: Regular monitoring ensures early intervention in the event
of abnormal situations, increasing the durability of the treatment.
